Benghazi – August 18, 2017 The Libyan House of Representatives has appointed Lieutenant General Khaled Khalifa Haftar as Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army during a session held in Benghazi
Haftar, known for his discipline and professionalism, previously headed the security units and oversaw the establishment of Benghazi’s Military City, the largest military complex in Libya.
