Central Bank Of Libya released The monthly report on governmental revenues and spending

The Central Bank issued its monthly statement of income and public expenditure covering the period from 2024/01 Up to 2024/05/31.

In a statement, the Bank stated that it was continuing efforts to achieve the highest rates of disclosure and transparency through many of the tools available, with a view to involving all State institutions and citizens in awareness of the economic and financial realities of the State.

The Bank confirmed that the volume of oil sales during the reporting period amounted to LD 36.8 billion, while oil royalties amounted to 6.0 billion, the tax sector to LD 121 million, customs revenues to LD 123 million, communications to 11 million and the proceeds from the sale of fuel to the local market to 32 million.
At the expenditure level, the report allocated 20.4 billion dinars from the first line of the budget for salaries, 1.1 billion for operating expenses, 4.4 billion for support, 0 for emergencies and 4.4 for financial arrangements for the National Oil Corporation.
